This Privacy Policy describes how Verv Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (referred to as “Verv”, “we,” or “our” as applicable) collect, use, and disclose information about you. This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect when you use or access our websites (each a “Website”), mobile applications (each an “App”, “Products”), other products and services (collectively the “Services”) that display or link to this Privacy Policy, or when you otherwise interact with us. In some cases, we may provide different or additional policies or notices about our information practices. For instance, if you reside in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, our US State Privacy Notice applies in addition to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect various types of data about you, as described below.

Contact and account information. We collect information when you make a purchase or create an account or profile with us, including your name, email address, username, password, and any other information you choose to provide.

Interests and demographic information. In order to better understand our users and offer products and services of interest to you, we may collect information from or about you that indicates your interests or demographic information. Examples may include geographic location (e.g., ZIP Code), interests, lifestyle data, or transactional information about the products or services that you purchase.

Payment information. Transaction data. If you make a purchase, we work with a third-party payment processor to collect and process your billing address and payment method information.

When you purchase Subscription via Website, you need to provide financial account data, such as your credit card number, to our third-party payment processing service providers (such as Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, etc.). We do not collect or store full credit card number data, though we may receive credit card-related data, data about the transaction, including: date, time and amount of the transaction, the type of payment method used.

Personal Data about your fitness and wellbeing. We may collect your fitness or wellbeing information such as your weight, height, consumption of water, step count and other similar data, and also data from third-party services such as HealthKit.

You will also have an option to permit us to import and export the App data from third-party services such as Apple HealthKit, among others. Such information may include: weight, gender, height, heartbeat rate, number of steps/distance traveled, and other information about your health. We do not use the information obtained via the HealthKit framework for advertising or similar purposes. We do not disclose any information obtained via HealthKit to third parties without your express permission. We do not sell information obtained via HealthKit to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers. Permitting us to access third party information can help you to maximize your App experience.

Customer service and feedback. We may collect information from you when you request customer support or information from us, provide feedback or reviews about your experience with us or our products, or otherwise communicate with or contact us.

User-Generated Content. We may collect content that you create and then share with us on third-party social networks or one of our Websites or Apps. Examples include photos, videos, personal stories, or other similar media or content. Where permitted, we collect and publish User-generated content in connection with a variety of activities, including contests and other promotions, Website community features, user engagement, and third-party social networking.

Location information. We may collect or infer information about your location based on your zip code or IP address.

Website usage and device information. We may collect information about your use of our Services, including technical information about your device, browser or mobile carrier; usage information such as when you access the Services, for how long, and the websites you accessed before or after your use of the Services; and device identifiers and IP address. How We Collect Information

There are several ways we may obtain information about you. Verv collects information from you (a) that you choose to share with us when using our Services and when you otherwise interact with us, such as through our user support channels, (b) that we collect automatically when you use our Services, and (c) that we receive from third parties.

We collect information from you directly. We collect information when you use our Services or otherwise interact with us. This includes buying App subscription or any other Services, providing a review, signing up for our marketing communications, registering for an account, entering a promotion or contest, or participating in our surveys.

We collect information automatically. We and our third party service providers collect data about you using automated technology like cookies and pixels via our Services. We use these technologies to improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits. They also help us understand information like access times, pages viewed, links clicked, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services. We get information about you from other sources. We may collect information about you from our business partners or affiliates. Targeted Advertising and Analytics

We disclose information within our group of companies. We may disclose information with Verv Group companies, which includes all direct and indirect subsidiaries of Verv Inc. and any future related companies.

This also includes companies that help us with fraud detection and Service operations. We may disclose information with data analytics vendors or market research companies. We Combine Information

Your Choices

App Information. You can access and delete information stored within your App in your App settings at any time.

Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually adjust your browser settings to remove or reject browser cookies. You can also adjust certain settings for cookies and similar technologies by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” link found in the footer of our website and following the instructions in the window, or by navigating to the Privacy section in your App settings. Please note that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the availability and functionality of our Websites.

Communication preferences. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time. To opt out of promotional emails, please follow the unsubscribe instructions in those communications. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account, relationship with us, or our ongoing business relations.

These Websites and Apps are Not Intended For Children

The Websites and apps where this Privacy Policy appears are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. However, Verv recognizes that children under the age of 16 may potentially access the Website and subscribe to the newsletter, download the App and purchase our Products and Services. If you are a parent or legal guardian and think your child has given us information, you can write to us or email us at the addresses provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. Security Measures and Location of Information

We use standard security measures. While we make every effort to help ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, the Internet is not 100% secure. Transfer of Information to the U.S. and Other Countries. Verv Inc. is based in the United States. You understand that by interacting with us your information will be sent to the US. The laws of the US may not provide the same protections as the laws in your country.
